This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how we handle returns, replacements, and refunds for products purchased from ICメーカー (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is tailored for B2B procurement of electronic components and forms part of our overall Terms & Conditions.
1) Scope
This policy applies to all orders placed via icmanufacturer.com, including in-stock, factory-direct, and special-order items.
- Product type: integrated circuits and related electronic components.
- Condition supplied: factory-new, original, and traceable parts unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Audience: business customers, OEM/ODM, EMS, distributors, R&D labs.
2) Quick Summary (at a glance)
- Report issues within 15 business days of delivery (transit damage, shortages, wrong part).
- All returns require an RMA (Return Material Authorization) before shipping anything back.
- Warranty: 12 months from delivery against manufacturing defects (standard usage).
- Refunds: issued after inspection/testing; replacements preferred for functional failures.
- NCNR (Non-Cancellable / Non-Returnable) items: see Section 6.
- ESD/MSL packaging: opened or altered packaging is generally non-returnable unless DOA/defective.
3) Eligibility for Return / Replacement
We accept a return or arrange a replacement in the following cases:
- Transit damage or packaging tamper
- Damage must be noted on the carrier POD そして photographed at delivery.
- Notify us within 15 business days with photos of the carton, labels, inner ESD bags, and the parts.
- Wrong item / quantity / date code mismatch
- Report within 3 business days of receipt with unboxing photos and packing list.
- Functional failure / defective parts
- Covered under our 12-month warranty (from delivery date) for defects under normal use.
- Provide failure description, test conditions, lot/date code, and evidence (see Section 5).
- Suspected non-original product
- Provide proof (e.g., factory test reports, third-party lab findings). We will investigate and, if confirmed, offer replacement/refund and cover reasonable return freight.
Not eligible: Buyer’s remorse, wrong selection by customer, parts used in destructive testing, or products altered, soldered, or relabeled by the customer (unless instructed by us).
4) How to Start a Return (RMA Process)
- Submit an RMA request to inf@icmanufacturer.com (cc support@icmanufacturer.com).
Include:- Company name, order/invoice number, delivery date
- Part number(s), quantity, lot/date code(s)
- Issue type (damage, short/over, wrong part, defective)
- Evidence (photos/videos/test data; see Section 5)
- Receive RMA number & instructions
- We respond within 2–5 business days with RMA approval or follow-up questions.
- Unauthorized returns will be refused.
- Ship back (if requested)
- Clearly mark the RMA number on the outer carton.
- Use anti-static, moisture-barrier packaging and adequate cushioning (see Section 8).
- Inspection & testing
- Upon receipt, we log the RMA and perform visual, documentation, and functional checks (Section 5).

- Replacement (preferred for DOA/defect) or refund once inspection confirms eligibility.
5) Evidence & Inspection Requirements
To process quickly, please provide:
- Photos: outer carton (all sides), shipping label, inner box, ESD/moisture bags (labels visible), and the parts.
- Video (optional): unboxing or test setup.
- Test details for failures: test equipment, conditions (voltage/temp), observed readings, pass/fail criteria.
- Documentation: order number, packing list, reel/lot/date codes.
Our inspection may include: visual & label verification, X-ray, decapsulation (when agreed), electrical tests against datasheet, and comparison to known-good lots. For suspected counterfeits, we may involve the manufacturer or accredited labs.
6) NCNR (Non-Cancellable / Non-Returnable) Items
Unless defective/DOA or not as described, the following are NCNR:
- Factory-direct, special-order, or allocation buys
- Opened ESD or breached moisture-barrier bags (MSL) without proper handling logs
- Cut-tape or reels split at customer’s request
- Programmed, custom-labeled, or otherwise configured components
- Products exposed to ESD/mixed lots/relabeling by the customer
- Items sold as “clearance / last-time-buy”
If an NCNR item is confirmed defective under warranty, we will replace or repair where possible; refunds may be limited.
7) Refunds vs. Replacements
- Replacements are prioritized to keep your project on schedule.
- Refund method: same payment channel used for the order (unless otherwise agreed).
- Timing: typically 7–10 business days after we complete inspection/testing and confirm eligibility.
- Scope: product value only. Shipping, duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless the issue is our responsibility.
8) Return Shipping & Packaging Instructions
- Do not ship without an RMA number.
- Pack items in ESD-safe bags with original labels intact; use dry packs for MSL parts (include desiccant/HIC if available).
- Use sufficient inner cushioning and a sturdy outer carton.
- For fragile reels: protect flanges; avoid tight bends in tape.
- Freight responsibility:
- Our fault (wrong item/defective): we provide labels or credit your return freight.
- Customer reason (if approved exceptionally): customer pays freight and may incur a restocking fee (see Section 9).
9) Cancellations & Restocking
- Before shipment: cancellations may be accepted for standard stock items.
- After shipment: orders are generally non-cancellable; see Section 6.
- If we approve a non-defect return, a restocking fee (typically 10–25%) may apply to cover inspection, re-tape/re-reel, and admin costs.
10) International Shipments, Duties & Taxes
- Customs duties, VAT/GST, brokerage, and import fees are customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed.
- If a return crosses borders, mark it as “Return – No Commercial Value” and reference the RMA number to avoid extra duties.
11) Warranty (12 Months)
- Coverage: manufacturing defects under normal use for 12 months from delivery.
- Remedies: repair / replace (primary) or refund if neither is feasible.
- Exclusions: misuse, improper storage/handling (ESD, moisture, temperature), operation outside datasheet limits, third-party modifications, or force majeure.
12) Counterfeit Prevention & Traceability
- We supply original, new components with traceability to manufacturer or authorized channels.
- If counterfeit is confirmed, we will replace/refund and cover the reasonable return freight; we may require samples for lab analysis.
13) Force Majeure & Service Interruptions
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, export restrictions, logistics disruptions, etc.). We will work with you to minimize impact.
